Josefa was born in La Coru単a, Spain and had two daughters, Josefina and Juana, with her husband Carlos who was a member of the navy. In 1904, Carlos died by drowning at sea while on duty. After this, Josefa decided to move with her two daughters to Pergamino, Argentina where her sister lived, in order to start a new life.

MY ANCESTOR, JOSEFA I am going to tell you about my great-great- grandmother who came to Argentina with her two daughters after her husbands death.
My great-great- grandmother was called Josefa. She was born in La Coru単a, Spain, and she lived there until she came to Argentina in 1905.
When she was 18, she met Carlos, a memver of the navy, who became his husband a year later.
Josefa and Carlos had two daughters whose names were Josefina and Juana.
In 1904 while Carlos was on duty, he died in the sea because he drawned.
After her husbands death, Josefa decided to move to Pergamino, Argentina with her children where her sister lived. There, she spent the rest of her life.
