MY ANCESTOR, JOSEFA
I am going to tell you about my great-great-
grandmother who came to Argentina with her two
daughters after her husbands death.
My great-great- grandmother was
called Josefa. She was born in La
Coru単a, Spain, and she lived there until
she came to Argentina in 1905.
When she was 18, she met Carlos, a
memver of the navy, who became his
husband a year later.
Josefa and Carlos had two daughters
whose names were Josefina and
Juana.
In 1904 while Carlos was on duty, he
died in the sea because he drawned.
After her husbands death, Josefa decided to
move to Pergamino, Argentina with her
children where her sister lived. There, she
spent the rest of her life.
