I have always believed in this: "choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life" (Confucius). My passion towards Archaeology has started at the day I attended the performance of Verdi's Opera A茂da at Cairo Opera House when I was at the age of 14, and ever since that moment the Egyptomania has sparkled in my heart, and by time I knew that the Pharaohs curse has followed me, as it did with the French Egyptologist Auguste Mariette who inspired Verdi to compose Opera A茂da just after he stumbled over the beautiful statue of Merit Amun, and I decided I should pursue a career in Archaeology.
