Attendance 扞 X Omar is becoming a very proficient user of the
language.
He is able to produce written work of a good
standard, which includes complex grammar and
increasingly sophisticated vocabulary.
He is a fluent speaker with generally clear
pronunciation.
With regards to reading and listening, Omar has
demonstrated a consistent ability to understand
advanced-level texts, as well as decipher the fast,
connected speech of (native and non-native) speakers
of different accents.
Omar is very aware of how he uses the language, and
is able to self-correct and improve his use of it.
He is a very strong student, hard-working and
motivated.
If he continues in this manner, he will certainly
continue to make much progress in his understanding
and use of the language.

4. Social skills X
In his written work, he has demonstrated a more
accurate use of complex grammar structures and
lexical expressions. He is able to discern appropriate
register and frame his language appropriately.
His spoken fluency remains strong and his
pronunciation clear.
Omar is able to understand gist and detailed
information in authentic listening extracts. His reading
skills have continued to develop and he is able to use
context and word building (e.g. suffixes, prefixes,
roots) to understand unfamiliar vocabulary.
Omars self-correction abilities continue to improve
and he has become a more accurate independent
assessor of his work.
Omar is a determined and hard-working student who
has made much progress and will no doubt continue
to do so.
