OMA is the focal point for the development of mobile service enabler specifications, which support the creation of interoperable end-to-end mobile services. OMA drives service enabler architectures and open enabler interfaces that are independent of the underlying wireless platforms. Toward that end, OMA has developed programs that allow implementers the opportunity to test their products to ensure industry-wide interoperability.Significant new work in OMA is leading to the development of mobile service enablers in areas such as Device Management, M2M Communications, API’s, Augmented Reality and more.
