I am an Italian economist who researches and lectures economics and trade for universities as well as for business leaders, CEO's, board members, and business developers using research to solve real world problems.
I write research papers for myself and I do not publish them, as I do not know any policymaker who reads them. Why?: Economics is not usually in the agenda of most politicians, topics like youth unemployment, or income distribution. Current monetary policies in place will not fix, by themselves, the microeconomic today's problems; what we need is policymakers with economic knowledge to become problem solving-orientated leaders.
