This poem describes the joy of taking a morning walk in fog where only a few steps are visible at a time, allowing the walker to focus only on the present moment without worrying about what is ahead or behind. The path is revealed gradually, step-by-step, requiring the walker to adjust to obstacles as they come, living fully in the present one step at a time without regret.

Walking in the fog
1. Walking in the Fog
Morning walk in the fog,
a great joy!
Just a few steps visible,
no worry about what lies ahead,
who is behind, who walks ahead!
The path reveals itself,
step by step, as you walk along.
You adjust to the twigs and the stones,
the puddles and the thorns,
coming your way, sportingly.
Why cant we live the whole life,
with such a stance, a step at a time,
un-grudgingly?
