Since May 2014, I have an Assistant Professor position at the University of Genova, where I teach courses of Computational Neuroscience for undergraduate students and PhD students of Bioengineering.
From 2008-2014, I have had a post doc position at the Neuroengineering and Bio-nano Technology Group (NBT) of the Department of Biophysical and Electronic Engineering (DIBE) of the University of Genova (Italy).
I was trained as a Biomedical Engineer, and I received my 5 years laurea-degree cum laude from the University of Genova in 2004. In 2008 I obtained my PhD in Bioengineering and Bioelectronics with a thesis entitled “In vitro neuronal networks: computational models and synaptic plastici.
