It was his idea to bring a diverse group of experts in technology, financing and project development having local and regional expertise together in a startup, Sustainable Alternatives. The mission of Sustainable Alternatives is to evaluate cutting edge but economically viable alternative energy technologies, which can be introduced to Sri Lanka and to the wider region.
