I'm currently working in the field of Lighting and Electrical. My role is the Energy Manager and Street Lighting Asset Owner on the M25 DBFO contract.
The role includes, asset management and renewals, reduction of energy in lighting and built assets (currently using 44 GWhr and need to reduce by 20% in the next 5 years), to investigating the use of renewable energy (solar, wind and Biomass) in the highways environment.
I have been working in the electrical engineering industry at various levels for over twenty five years.
