Expertise in translating technology into business, particularly in relation to information and semantic technologies. I have considerable experience of leading EU research projects, and of leading exploitation and dissemination activities in such projects. Interested in the emerging field of Linked Open Data, including how users will interact with large quantities of data. I have published widely on semantic technologies, knowledge management and technology strategy and have edited three books on these topics.
