For years I worked for Chartered Accountancy practices whose only focus was on compliance (i.e. ensuring the right paperwork was on the file to make sure the Institute was happy on a compliance visit). Little thought was given to the needs of clients - the needs of the practice came 1st.
So, in 2003 I set up my own Company - PJW Accounting Limited with the aim of providing clients with what they wanted. And in the main that was tax advice. So I decided to incorporate a full tax review as well as all the usual compliance services for no additional cost. I believe it's what differentiates me from the competition.
