Devised By Mark Dytham and Astrid Klyne in Tokyo in 2003 as an event for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public. Pecha Kucha Nights have become a massive celebration, with events happening more than 390 cities across the globe!
Drawing its name (said: 'pech-uh-ku-cha'), from the Japanese term for the sound of "chit chat", Pecha Kucha Nights rest on a presentation format that is based on a simple idea: 20 images x 20 seconds.
Pecha Kucha Night's patented system of informal presentation, keeps presentations concise and moving at a rapid pace. Presenters are invited/apply to exhibit 20 images, each shown for 20 seconds giving 6 minutes 40 seconds of fame befor
