Employment History:
Currently: Breakfast radio announcer / Creative writer at LifeFM Adelaide.
Breakfast Presenter on the highly regarded LifeFM, Copy and creative
writer, idea generator and events creator. Training and mentoring on air
staff. Teaching media at University and High school. Public speaker and
MC. Currently leading a group developing an international short story
competition and publishing project. Also a highly successful Hockey
coach at district level and State representative player. Completed MA in
creative writing at University of Adelaide (completed, with Distinction),
whilst presenting the highly popular LenandPete Show on Drive-time
Radio, writing multiple awarded short stories, nationally and
internationally, and other proof of concept publications
Sharpen Creative: 2005- 2012
Continued to operate as a freelance creative across media. Have been
involved with commercial radio, assisting the creation of a breakfast
show, directing the development of a commercial television program,
including writing and presentation, presenting the breakfast show and
providing assistance and guidance for newly formed Riverland LifeFM,
writing numerous award winning short stories, creating satirical web
content and viral video for a major manufacturer.
1999-2005 Sharpen Creative
As well as studying at the University of Adelaide for two degrees, a
Bachelor of Media and BA in Psychology, I continued to carry out a
number of creative activities as Sharpen Creative.
 regular columnist and features writer with The Independent Weekly
newspaper
 media analyst and producer for Podcasting proof of concept project
 feature writer and reviewer with street youth quarterly raw Magazine
 regular contributor to "The Door Magazine" in Dallas Texas,
 presenting a summer radio show through Radio Adelaide
 writing for DMGradios Star FM breakfast team in NSW.
 contributing writer to the ABC TV comedy show "BackBerner",
 writing for publications including "The Chaser" nationally, "Cram
Magazine" in Queensland, "Aussie Post" nationally, "Transmission
Magazine" in New Zealand.
I have also created various advertising and audio production projects and
created a cartoon series which won a zoom fest award and is currently
seeking international partners, a TV sitcom and a radio serial for a
Melbourne radio group.

1994-1999 Creative Director/Announcer 107.9 Life FM
Responsible for creating all the station imaging, promotions,
competitions, marketing and advertising, including creating and
launching of the stations new identity as Life FM in October 1998. For
three years I also presented the highly successful breakfast show,
leaving to move into drive to tweak the day time programming. This was
completed after ten months and I moved into nights to drive the new
high impact student targeted night show "NiteLife". I was also
responsible for developing and enacting programming and music policy
and much of the staff training and development. During this time I also
produced singles for local artist Robby and a promotional parody album
Version Therapy with a group of session musos including Mark Holden
and provided assistance to numerous local bands.
1993-1994 Free-lance Creative Writer & Consultant
Writing commercial copy for Alta Mira FM (now known as Life FM) and
consulting for their breakfast show. During this time also became the
first person ever to be commissioned by the ABC to develop a sitcom
from an unsolicited manuscript.
