With 5 years of supervised, clinical experience caring for patients in hospitals and in underserved clinics, I have a strong foundation in the core competencies of Family Medicine. After completing my intern year, I switched my career towards clinical research, coordinating and teaching.
From my clinical years, I take with me a keen interest for and an extensive retention of the medical management of common illnesses such as Diabetes, HTN, HLD, CHF, skin allergies and common infectious processes of ENT, the lungs and the intestines. Other interests include traditional and alternative methods of chronic pain management as well as the high-risk complications of dependence/addiction.
