The Wellcome Trust Sanger HPC team is responsible for both running and developing the scientific compute platforms that enables the ground breaking bio-informatics research that is taking place at Sanger today.
The Sanger high performance computing center has housed LSF based clusters for more than 15 years. Today this infrastructure exceeds 20,000 cores, ~13PB Lustre, 16PB iRODS and remains a core component of our high throughput workflows.
