Wide experience in archaeology, contract and curatorial, including excavation on rural and urban sites ranging from multiperiod landscapes to 19th C industrial. My curatorial work has been with county council planning departments and with DEFRA/Natural England, advising on land use change and farm and landscape scale management of the historic environment and on grants for historic farm buildings. I am experienced in reconstruction and experimental archaeology, having worked on the Butser Ancient Farm project, developed the award winning Peat Moors Visitor Centre for Somerset County Council and using hands on practical activities in schools and museums on Living History presentations.
