Always had an interest in astronomy and things "space related". After a certain "small step" in 1969, I developed a passion for working out what the Soviets were doing in space, and later added the Chinese and Israeli space programes to my areas of interest.
Currently working on my second book (my first was way back in 1988, "The Soviet Manned Space Programme") which has the working title "Red Eyes in Orbit", the story of Soviet/Russian photoreconnaissance satellites. Currently doing lots of statistical analysis/summaries and graphs for the book. Might try a monograph which would be a detailed review of Israel's space programme as well.
