My role requires me to assist in designing Managed Service solutions for Softcat's large customer base. I help translate customer requirements into flexible, scalable and innovative solutions. Solutions vary widely from customer to customer, whether it be for traditional Microsoft workloads, scalable web applications or Disaster Recovery - I work closely with customers and other Softcat teams to provide effective solution designs.
I am still involved in provisioning some services as in my previous role which I believe is important for any TA to maintain their skills. I am responsible for evaluating new vendor products, running PoC's and reporting back to the business.
