Kimochis were born out of love, compassion, and the hope for a world where everyone could be free and able to express how they feel. The company Plushy Feely Corp. is the creator of Kimochis plush characters, and was founded by Nina Rappaport Rowan.
Impacted by the 1999 Columbine killings, Nina Rappaport Rowan was inspired to create a way to help children and adults learn to communicate and connect on a deeper and more honest level. With the help of friends and colleagues Ellen Pritchard Dodge (Educational Director) and Susan Greenwood Schroeder (Marketing and Communications), along with a team of hard working moms, Plushy Feely Corp. came into being, and so did the idea for Kimochis.
