Unique background with personal experience in both the classroom and the boardroom. I understand the concerns on both sides and also know what school is like in the urban environment. I know that in the "right place" my combined experience could be part of the change we so desperately need to see in Education. Do I have all the answers? No Way! But, at least I know what some of the real questions are. New teacher evaluation systems..... really? Is this going to solve our problem or just point another finger in the wrong direction. I want to work with the kind of organization that really wants to take an honest look at our education issues and find a way to make a real difference....
