I passed Matriculation in 1957 from A.S.High School Nakodar, F.Sc in 1959 from Pujab University College, Hoshiarpur and B.Sc Engineering (Electrical) in 1964 from BHU. Joined PSEB in 1964 as Assisstant Engineer. On re-organization of State of Punjab I was allocated to Haryana state Electricity Board (HSEB). Worked at Dhulkote (Ambala City), Jui, Faridabad, Chandigargh, Panipat, Tripoli (Libya), Panchkula.
