About
Rafael Dutra - VJ Rafa Dutra - became interested in the art of mixing videos and live footage while on holiday in Spain, in 2006. In Barcelona and Madrid, he visited great potential nightclubs, like: CATWALK, QVINTA AVENUE, SPACE, FABRIK and PACHA, that were already using DJ + VJ features in perfect sync.Â
Back in Porto Alegre, he decided to turn his hobby into a profession and has started his researches about VJ's concept. In the same year he met DJ Rodrigo Santos, resident of Santa Monica Club, a nightclub with more than 11 years tradition in the South of Brazil, and it was only a matter of time for them to start working as a team at Santa Monica.
