Raid Al-Tahir holds an MS. and PhD. in Geodetic Sciences from The Ohio State University (USA) specializing in Digital Photogrammetry. He is a Senior Lecturer (=Associate Professor) at the Department of Geomatics Engineering and Land Management at the University of the West Indies (Trinidad and Tobago).
At UWI, he has taught courses in Photogrammetry, Digital Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing, and Spatial (Statistical) Analysis and Modeling. He is currently Adjunct Professor at the Department of Geodesy and Geomatics Engineering at the University of New Brunswick.
