I joined Octel Communications in May 1983 as an electronic technician, where I was in charge of setting up the test department. Was reassigned to Manufacturing engineering in 85, to help with the development of new products and improve existing products. Worked on the design of the power system for the Aspen, our first product, and later helped engineering with the design, assembly and testing of other systems. I helped with the qualification of company to supply parts and assemblies to Octel.
