Commissioned as an officer in the Indian Army in Dec'87 and opted to retire prematurely as a Lieutenant Colonel after 20 years of distinguished service w.e.f. 30 Mar 2007. The last tenure was with `Senior Quality Assurance Establishment for Battle Tanks, Earthmoving Eqpt and other defence eqpt manufactured by Bharat Earth Mover Ltd(BEML), KGF, India, in the capacity of Quality Assurance Officer (Lieutenant Colonel).
