Research interests include (a) Crop production under changing climate, and land, water & soil management for sustainability and global food security, (b) Soil N cycling and GHG emissions / nutrient flows in agro-environment, (c) Soil fertility & fertilizers management for sustainable production systems, (d) Assessing responses of crops and agroecosystems to climate change, and (e) Identify alternative, intensive and sustainable cropping systems under rainfed and irrigated environments.
Immediate priorities include research as well as teaching / supervising Graduate students
