Raymond is presently a Public Information Officer (PIO), with the African Union / United Nations Information Support Team (AU/UN/IST) in Mogadishu, Somalia.
He is a media professional and has previously worked as a journalist in Kampala, Uganda with The New Vision newspaper where began his career in 2004.
In 2010, he was named Uganda's winner of the prestigious UK-based David Astor Journalism Award. He underwent work experience training in the UK and published articles in top British newspapers that include The Times of London, The Independent and The Scotsman.
