Jacob 鈥淛ay-One鈥� Roland was born and raised in North Lauderdale, Florida; born on May 4th, 1990. He started writing music at 12 years of age. He began to record his own songs as well as
others by the age of 14. Jay-One gets his name from his father who gave it to him at birth. At the young age of 19, Jay-One can produce, write, rap, sing, engineer, and master his own songs.
Jay is also the CEO & President of Jay 91 Records, Inc. which is the label he is signed to. Jay's goal is to take Hip-Hop to a new level, introducing Hip-Hop to its future.
