I've been interested in the written word since I was 9 (after voraciously reading my first Enid Blyton!).
When most 10 year old girls wanted Barbies, I asked for a typewriter. When I got my second-hand typewriter, I was happily creating poems and short stories. The by-product of getting a typewriter was that I learnt how to type really fast!
Even at university, I studied Journalism when I could have done Law. Nothing thrilled me more than working with words.
I then got a job as a copywriter in a media agency immediately after graduating from Universiti Sains Malaysia. But things soon bored me and before long, I was craving a challenge - how about trying out the Internet industry?
