Originally from Jamaica West Indies, Dahlia has lived in United States for the last 30+ years. Shortly after migrating to the United States, Dahlia joined the Louisiana Army National Guard. She served 25+ years with one deployment to Iraq in 2005-2006 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. While pursuing a career as a Citizen Soldier and a full time position with Department of the Army as a Support Services Supervisor/Chief, Administrative Services (Information Management), Dahlia earned a Masters of Business Administration with emphasis in Technology Management in 2003 from the University of Phoenix.
