Ri is a data visualisation designer who uses code as a tool for social good. The goal of her work is to create empathy through storytelling by visually communicating complex datasets in a simple and aesthetically compelling way. The current focus of her work is in bringing awareness to social issues around the world, especially in the area of gender inequality. Hailing from Brisbane, Australia, Ri has lived in Chicago and San Francisco and currently resides in Melbourne. She has degrees in Information Technology and Interaction Design.
