I have worked in the video games industry since 2004. During that time I have lived the transition from the mighty consoles into the free to play model, from the big HD screens into the smartphones gaming revolution. I have worked for big publishers like EA or Activision for consoles, and also for Chillingo (Angry Birds publisher) creating small games for the iPhone 3G! (back on those days!).
All that experience has been useful to understand that nothing stills the same. Whatever is on trend right now won't be in 5 years probably.
