Develop and implement a well-rounded governmental affairs program that will effectively present the concerns and desires of the Lakeland Chamber’s membership to elected and appointed governmental leaders.
• Monitor and report on pertinent legislative issues of concern to the Chamber and/ or business community to ensure the Chamber can play a proactive role in addressing these issues.
• Staff and supervise task forces dealing with federal, state and local legislative issues.
• Prepare Chamber position statements once Board has approved a motion to adopt.
