I was raised with mid-western values that make me want to do things well without necessarily trusting others to do as well. My father was a respected educator and law scholar. I follow in his footsteps loving teaching with a student centeredness. I find the nature of civilization and how they fail of great interest along with always trying to understand human nature. That is the anthropologist in me. My favorite accomplishment was working with Ak-Chin Indian Community and Alfretta Antone of the Salt River Indian Community. I saw people at Ak-Chin empower themselves and I learned to respect others from my friend Alfretta.
