In 2003 I received my masters in Social Science Informatics (AI) from the University of Amsterdam. After this I worked as a PhD researcher at the University of Tilburg on computational linguistics technology in adaptive language learning tools. Next, I founded EDIA with three other UvA alumni. At EDIA I initiated and managed the development of a large number of eLearning tools and products, including all language learning tools. A number of these language learning tools were separated from Edia and placed in Knowble BV. A new company created in 2014 with full focus on computational linguistics and language learning products. I managed Knowble in it's first year.
