My role in the Mechanical Analysis Division (formerly Flomerics) of Mentor Graphics focusses on identifying technologies and applications within and outside of Mentor that will advance our simulation roadmaps for the physical design of electronic products (or more generally products that contain electronics, of which there are many!).
I have worked for 20 years in the simulation software industry. I have extensive experience of the 3D CFD packages FloTHERM (for electronics cooling simulation) and FloVENT (for simulation of heat and contaminant transfer in the built environment).
