Roger has worked in education for over 20 years, internationally for over 10 years - teaching in international schools in 5 countries. He has become increasingly frustrated with the fact that high school graduates, even from prestigious international schools, have very little knowledge and understanding of what is going on in the world. He firmly believes that secondary schools and curriculum authorities around the world need to add current affairs and global issues to the curriculum. It is not good enough for young people to perhaps stumble upon current affairs and global issues in the regular subject areas - all secondary school students should have at least a weekly double period class!
