I am a former software developer and consultant who has moved into IxD, UX and onwards into Service Design. My special interest is in Service Design for Startups.
As a software consultant I have run JAD (Joint Application Development) workshops with the developers and future users of client systems, I have been a trouble-shooter for in-progress client projects, and have rescued value from end-of-lifecycle projects by providing upgrade paths. I have always sought to clarify and meet user requirements, and regret nothing except those projects where I had to work without any live user input.
