Roxana-Yvonne Cosereanu was born on 1st April 1981 and graduated the National
College of Arts 鈥淚on Vidu鈥� Timisoara in the year 1999, where she studied with professors
Robert Schrodt (currently piano professor at Universitat der Kunste Berlin) and Maria
Bodo. In her school years, she participated at numerous competitions, with extremely
successful results. Here are some of them: 1st Prize and the Special Prize for the best
performance of a Romanian piano work- Pianoforte Contest 鈥濭olden Orpheum鈥�- Targu-
Jiu, 1995; 2nd Prize at the National Competition of Music- Iasi, 1996; 2nd Prize at the
National Competition of Music- Resita, 1997; 1st Prize at the National Competition of
Mu
