 Threat of war,To many Deadlines, Debt, Bitter Divorce, Death of a
Loved one?
 These stressors are only Part of the problem.
 BiologicalTraumas:Punishing Diets, Brutal workouts, silent
infections, inherited deficiencies
 Stress a Bad thing? :Yes and No We need it to keep us alert, add
spice to our lives. But,Chronic Stress= Opposite effect
 Stress begins in the ADRENAL GLANDS = without them life
would be unbearable
 Adrenal Glands:Produce 30 to 40 different hormones
 During Stress, the adrenals release two hormones:Adrenaline and
Cortisol
ADRENALINE + CORTISOL
 Adrenaline: Alerts you of danger, prepares
you for *fight or flight*
 Following Cortisol release
 Cortisol balances the effects of adrenaline
and provides you with Strength and
Stamina!
 Cortisol: "Can do, Bring it On Hormone"
Continual Release:Adrenaline and Cortisol
pump to high = Chronically Wired + Strained
What is the cause? :Anger, upsets, injuries, or
fear? NOPE
Main Causes: High Sugar Diets, Severe-
Chronic Infections, Caffeine, Drugs,
Environmental Chemicals.
Constant Exposure can lead to: Heart
