Sam Phillips has accepted a position as the Assistant Fire Chief of Operations at Clallam County Fire District No.2 in Port Angeles, WA starting August 1, 2011.
Previously he was with Hillsboro Fire & Rescue beginning in October of 2005 as the Training Chief. In 2009, he was promoted to Administrative Chief bringing with him more than 32 years of fire service experience. Chief Phillips has held the positions of Firefighter, Investigator, Lieutenant, Captain, Battalion Chief, and Assistant Chief in various organizations.
