Saranga took key marketing positions in diversified fields such as Rubber product manufacturing , Software development and project Consulting, in 2004 he was selected to be the youngest Advertising Managers of Wijeya Newspapers Limited which is the largest Media organization in Sri Lanka.
Since 2011 he is working as the Director 鈥� Marketing of Ceylon Newspapers the publisher of Mawbima and Ceylon TODAY which is now emerging as the second largest Newspaper group in Sri Lanka.
He has initiated and introduced many award winning innovations to print media which are never seen or heard before in Sri Lanka.
He is currently sharing his knowledge as a visiting lecturer of University of Colombo
