Having served in C-level positions with Jang Group, Channel 24 and City 42, Sarmad is presently based in Lahore-Pakistan where he runs Quarks Pvt Ltd. (a digital marketing agency) and X2O (an A.P.N.S and P.B.A accredited advertising agency).
Other than servicing a number of prestigious clients including the Government of Punjab, he is providing consultancy to a number of media houses and developing new media and E-commerce platforms.
A marketeer by profession, Sarmad started his career as a journalist with The News International in 1998 and transitioned through various departments of Media Groups and Advertising Agencies becoming a hands-on all rounder in the media business.
