I hate to be mean and rude,
so I work on my attitude.
Easy going is my flagship,
not mean and nasty whip.
Sometimes my flag won't fly,
the devil gets in my cheery pie.
Still I fight hard to defy.
Quite a few give into the devil,
each day operate on his level.
I can't afford to give in,
I like too beat the devil and win.
But I end up losing,
dealing with demons bruising.
When you're injured bad,
you have to call the man from glad.
Try to get back to the good attitude you had.
It seems to run,
but some good is better than none.
Life is full of hocuspocus,
it's easier if we keep our focus.
I don't focus on the devil,
my focus is away from evil.
I know my heart and soul
