Satu Lipponen works for cancer control, innovation and quality in communications and journalism. She is a professional journalist specialised in science, health and health promotion. She has worked at the Cancer Society of Finland since 2000 as managing editor of the Society's magazine, Sy枚p盲-Cancer and from 2008 editor-in-chief of the annual magazine Focus of the Cancer Foundation. From June 2017 she started as director, strategy and foresight, of the Cancer Society with strong focus on international affairs.
