1. Gene Scott is an experienced Corporate Leadership and Project Management Facilitator/ Trainer with
expertise in healthcare, financial, energy and manufacturing industries. He developed and led rollouts of
the Project Management Methodology including training and development of over 10,000 associates in
the past 10 years. Genes passion is developing individuals and organizations to the achieve success with
complex projects and engagements. He is committed to supporting people to expand their vision to
opportunities that are thought unimaginable. As a Charter member and 10+ years Instructor of the REP
(PMIs Registered Education Provider) organization, Gene has developed and delivered Leadership, PM,
PMI/PMP Training, OCM, BPR, and requirements definition workshops throughout the United States,
Ireland, Holland, India and the United Kingdom.
Previously, Gene worked for E-Systems/ Raytheon for 18 years, where he managed the Hi-Reliability
Microcircuit Facility. His responsibilities included development, design, production, testing and assembly
of the solid state Hi-Rel devices that operated in a variety of DOD environments. He also coordinated the
ISO 9000 certification effort, and was coordinator of teams and team development at this 5,000 associate
facility.
With more than 30 years of project management experience, Gene is a PMI-certified Project Management
Professional (PMP) and active member of the PMI Dallas chapter. There he teaches PM Risk classes and
writes articles related to PM topics and practices. His team was recognized by the American Society of
Training and Development as one of the Best Places to Learn in DFW for 2009. In addition Gene has
received multiple Business Leadership Centers Teaching Excellence Awards at the SMU Cox School of
Business, where he teaches the Project Management seminar to MBA students. Gene is also certified by
Day Timer (Time Management Training), the International Association of Facilitators as a Certified
Professional facilitator (CPF), and is a Certified Educator (Texas Education Association).
