My background in music is extensive including education, performance, and music business having written & arranged for high school & college bands as well as Walt Disney World Bands.
I believe that learning is most effective when differential development within physical, intellectual, emotional, & social domains is taken into account. In my classes I teach students to see and hear music and then visualize it in their minds. Take those visual ideas and describe it in musical terms as to what those images are and how it makes them feel. In turn I try to instill those same ideals when it comes to musical performance.
