After being diagnosed with Crohn鈥檚 disease at the age of 15 I left school with average qualifications. The illness throughout my teens didn鈥檛 allow me to stay in one position for a lengthy period due to multiple hospital stays. After sustaining remission I made the decision to go back into education and to pick up where I left off ten years previously. This saw me being awarded a BA Hons in Sports Journalism.
