Tell us something about your life.
I was born in Karnataka (Goa), which is south central part of India, in 1963. I have four sisters and one brother. My parents are practicing Catholics. My father was a Hindu and became a Catholic at the time of his marriage. My parents’ families are Hindu. I was born during the famine which began in 1961.
What was that like for your family?
