I always have been interested in computer applications to solve complex problems in complex systems. Since my university graduate work in solid state physics I've been designing a systems for electronic structure calculations on the basis of Density Functional theory, Molecular dynamics and Car-Parrinello DFMD. I had a happy opportunity to work with Mike Payne and Rex Godby during my visit to Cavendish Laboratory in 1987.
